Ulrike Agne-Draudsin

Sport has always been an important topic in my life to this day.
My talent and passion for running was discovered and promoted as a child. Later came racing and mountain biking, as well as hiking.

Strength and flexibility training were an integral part of my weekly schedule from an early age, because I had learned that it is important not to burden the body on one side, but to make it functional and keep it functional on many axes through different training requirements.

Since 1990 I have been living in the southwest of Portugal in the Algarve. After completing my training in Hamburg to become an A-License trainer in 2017, I decided to move to Hamburg for a while and gain professional experience there. From 2017, I was employed for over a year as a trainer for functional, cardio, rehabilitation and equipment training,  as well as nutritional advice at Meridian Fitness & Spa in Hamburg Wandsbek. Today I work as a freelance personal trainer.

In Hamburg, I had my finger on the pulse of new training methods and equipment, and even today I regularly exchange ideas with my former colleagues in order to always stay up to date. In Portugal I mainly work outdoors because the climate allows it for most of the year. The conditions for hiking, running, cycling and playing golf are unique and since I’ve lived here for 30 years, I know the most beautiful paths and places as well as restaurants, hotels and private guest houses.

Use my competence, local knowledge and my passion for imparting my knowledge.

My philosophy

Our body is the vehicle for our mind. It carries us up mountains, lets us play games and sometimes it competes for us.

It is therefore important to create the best physical conditions for these activities in order to have the greatest possible mental gain and to feel the most joy and satisfaction.
